christmas cactus flower

or flowers really - you can see - there are 2 of them - having bloomed together - one on top of the other - the fact of the matter - is that each one of my - christmas cactus plants - is in bloom this year - a first since my house - was decimated (or most of my belongings really) - in a major flooding - nearly 3 years ago now - where i tried to rescue - a lot of my plants - which got damaged - by water and insulation debris

it was a horrible time - and experience and i wasn’t certain - any of them would ever - recover yet here we are - and they are giving up - beautiful blossoms for me to enjoy - so i can claim it as...
