River Kent, Kendal

A trip to Kendal for a haircut and I feel so much better for it.  I had been growing it slightly longer but that has now gone out of the window and it is short.  Very.

We parked at Abbot Hall and walked along the River Kent into town, stopping at Waterside Cafe for lunch - one of their Christmas options was the Nut roast with all the trimmings and it was delicious and very generous.

Team at hairdressers perky as always so that was nice.  This morning was lovely - sunshine and very bright.  That gave way to rain just as I came out of the hairdressers.  Doh!
