The Glastonbury Thorn

This 12p stamp was a special rate version of the 13p version of the same stamp for Christmas in 1986 apparently. I was at the end of secondary school that Christmas and would be sitting my O-levels the following summer, which was the last year they were in use in England, being replaced by the GCSE. I can't remember if we did our mock O-levels at Christmas (as normal exams were done at school) or in the following spring. I know I enjoyed all the subjects, except English Lang&Lit which I really didn't like at all. Undiagnosed dyslexia didn't help at all...!

Another highly busy day at work, productive and I was able to do some more BREXIT tasks as well, so all round good day. Still backbliping with a wide range of old Christmas stamps!
