The Chocolate Factory

It is not willy wonka and the chocolate factory, but the Chocolate Factory at St. George's Mansions in Glasgow.

St George's Mansions is such a great landmark building on the gushet of St George's and Woodlands Roads in Glasgow. The mansions were built between 1900-1901 and were designed by Frank Burnett and Boston for the City Improvement Trust. The Trust provided several beautiful buildings in Glasgow with the aim of creating better quality housing. This exotic looking sandstone tenement has ogee domes, a fine clock, tasteful balconies and some attractive carvings. For example, little angels hold a shield with Glasgow's crest on it.
