Coronavirus Tier 2 - Day 17

View from Haycombe Crematorium, Bath

A sad goodbye to Margaret this afternoon; the first funeral we’ve been able to go to during the pandemic. Since March, we’ve lost three family members, and four family friends; it’s been a very sad year...

The only word to describe today’s weather is filthy: dark, murky, strong winds, and heavy persistent rain (which meant flooded roads), but mild at 12 degrees. And another busy day in the madhouse:

- Christmas present and parcel wrapping
- Friend called round to exchange presents
- Cleared up sewing marathon bomb site
- Booked parcel collection, fingers crossed it gets delivered before Christmas Eve
- Post Office in next village, no queue!
- Garden centre
- Funeral
- Stopped off at a friend’s on the way home to drop off pressie
- Got home and fell asleep

Take care, stay safe and well...
