beautiful bougavillea

I think I am learning how to use the camera on my Samsung Galaxy S3 phone so that it takes decent photos! I was shocked when I realized this photo was not from my camera but from my phone camera. What happened was I found the settings for it and tried a macro setting today to take this close up of our gorgeous new Orange Bouganvillea. Thank you Ann Hall, I love this plant!

It will be planted tomorrow along with a red Lantana standard and a pink Tabebuia tree. We also have on hand a lovely butterfly bush and a Pink Jatropa. I am not sure if they will be planted tomorrow, maybe not until other work has been done. Did I mention we are working on the front yard now? : )

Hobbs' wife Norma loves gardening, has been watching our progress here and asked me - how about one of her favorite plants, Murraya -orange jasmine? She said it was beautiful & with a heady fragrance. I asked my advisor Ann if she could look into it, just to see if it was possible and unfortunately she found out from a grower and specialist here ... he said it was a wonderful plant, but no one is growing it now as it became a disease carrier for the citrus greening disease that is eradicating much of the citrus decimation in Florida. The orange jasmine is grown like citrus and is susceptible to all of the diseases of citrus. So no one is growing it anymore and it not available. : ^ (( Too bad, I think would have loved it, Norma! I appreciate your suggestion!
