Crystal Palace Park: Crystal Palace Dinosaur

Funnier feet and prettier a pate in large
Extra: Another funny-footed pretty pigeon

Im and I went to see the lake in Crystal Palace Park in the morning; we stumbled across the Grade I listed "Dinosaur Court" (AKA Crystal Palace Dinosaurs). The Victorian models are impressive in scale, and do a fine job of showing how much our thinking has changed about prehistoric animals since that time... Most head-scratchingly, the "Dinosaur Court" contained only three dinosaur taxa alongside four marine reptile taxa, four mammal taxa, and various amphibians, mammal-like reptiles, and pterosaurs. I suppose that there were quite a lot of dinosaurs represented by the extant residents of the lake at least.
My favourite pictures were both of pretty pigeons.
