Tree

This is the only photograph I took today.  It was snatched on a brief trip to deliver Christmas presents to friends.  That involved leaving the presents on their doorstep and then stepping back so that they could safely open the door to collect them.

As of midnight tonight, we are moving into the new coronavirus Tier 4 which imposes even greater restrictions.  This means that our hopes of seeing our son in the coming week have been dashed.  It will be a very quiet Christmas.

At least the sky behind that tree (in one of the interludes between - sometimes heavy - showers) was interesting.
