My favourite Christmas card

A baby foot print, goggle eyes,
drawn-on antlers, one surprise:
A reindeer, with (a shiny heart)
a Rudolph-nose - a card that's smart.

You might remember little Miss B's hand and foot printing session a few days ago. Well this is one of the resulting cards: extra special as it's written to us, and we were there to watch and help in the creative process. What a joy!

My Extra is a view across the bare fields to the bare trees and beyond to the blue sky. The latter appeared gradually as strong winds blew the dark clouds away at great speed - real racing clouds!

Just finished watching Strictly final. So pleased with the result, though I awarded equal votes to Bill and HRVY. Was glad to see the judges couldn't choose between them and Maisie either, with Jamie not far behind. Given the circs, it's been a great series. And Bill Bailey is the oldest winner to date.

PS Remembered to look at the night sky tonight, just after sunset. Saw the crescent moon, and further round, to the south-west, Jupiter and Saturn appearing very close together. In a couple of days they will pass each other. Do hope the cloud stays away on 21st - when apparently the two planets' passing will make them look like one giant star - as this line-up hasn't been seen since the 13th century. Guess it'll be a while before it happens again!
