The road home

I fed the birds early this morning and they did not disappoint me for a quick shot before we hit the road. I've added extras of our long ride home, 10 hours I think. When we turned the corner near Sam's farm we found his mare in the road. He was away for the weekend so we called him to let him know she was out. A friend was coming by to put her up. Then we were able to stop and get a shot of another Mail Pouch barn I've meaning to get a picture of. Farther along we found remains of an ice storm on Keyser Ridge when we stopped for a cup of coffee...drive through only.. We also took a drive through Harpers Ferry to see the decorated town but there were so many people in that small area we turned around and decided we would try again another time. The point being the drive home was a beautiful one which made leaving the farm bitter sweet. Now to crack down and get ready for Christmas! Will catch up asap...be careful.
