St Michael the Archangel

Although I'm very fond of dragons, and might therefore be expected to be a bit down on St Michael, I do have a bit of a thing about him - possibly due in part to the fact that so many churches in funky hilltop locations are dedicated to him, including the one whose tower on top of Glastonbury Tor I can see from my study window. This particular version is outside the chapel of St Michael, in the south-west corner of the Abbey church at Buckfast, Devon. I've been to Buckfast Abbey many times, but never come across him before - this time, the Covid-compliant one-way route exited past him, and I couldn't resist adding this pic to my collection of images of St Michael.
