Artist at Work

Not exactly sure what the final product is meant to represent (see extra) or its purpose but she worked diligently and carefully, then turned her back and walked away.
Update - actually, I think I know the answer. A random thought last night (3 in the morning actually) made me wonder and go looking. The spiral represents progress to the winter solstice (today) at its center before pausing, then reversing its progress out to its beginning at the summer solstice ... and the adventure (life and viewfinder) continues.
