Seeing red

No colour pop shot today. Too busy celebrating Charlotte's negative covid test result which finally came in albeit later than she might have preferred, having spent the night quarantined in the camper van! This shot was taken on a wet early morning Winter Solstice walk, having not managed to see either the planetary conjunction or even the sunrise. But it happened. Light returns to the northern hemisphere.

The planetary conjunction of Saturn and Jupiter is being connected to a time of transition by many of my astrologer friends... moving from earth sign into air sign we are told to prepare for great change. I don't know how I feel about astrology but I do know we are in as much tumult as I care to see, with even more coming.

Honestly, go back a decade you would never credit we would be here now. Corruption was always a part of UK politics, but never so brazen. Nationalism was laughed off as a bit of Jingoism, but never so close to fascism. And throw in a global pandemic handled so incompetently (yes, hindsight matters, but even so). No wonder we're seeing red.

Anyway. Lovely to have Charlie home for a short while.
