Golden glow

Had quite a relaxed morning, then made a big veggie soup while Tim called his friend Liz.  Soup for lunch and then we cut each others hair again.  Best cuts yet, we both agreed - mainly thanks to the thinning scissors Tim bought recently.

I went for a walk to the heath this afternoon (after posting a last few Christmas cards), then came back and finished making a present for my friend.  Very pleased with it :)

We watched the rest of Forest Gump this evening - lovely.
