Across the rooftops

Had a few more cards to post today, and the weather was looking pretty good, so I combined a trip to the post box with a decent walk over to The Point (a little green space with fabulous views over Canary Wharf and London).  There was rain on the way by this point, but the sun was still shining, which made for some great light - and a rainbow at one point (not included in this crop, sadly).  I followed some steps down and took the path that wound back just below the main viewpoint, and got some great views across the rooftops.

Back home for a cup of tea and a mince pie, and a pretty chilled afternoon with Tim.  This evening I had a Zoom call with my friend Kristi in Seattle - so nice to catch up with her again - and then watched Forest Gump with Tim (first time either of us have ever seen it - better late than never!)  It's long though, so we had to save the last hour for tomorrow.

Oh yes, and Christmas was cancelled today.  (Not for Tim and me, we didn't really have any plans beyond staying home together - but for the rest of London and the South East, and to a large extent for the rest of the country.)  Tier 4, here we come....
