Marine Layer (5)

The fog was putting on a lovely show for all the hundreds of people up on Skyline hoping for a glimpse of the Great Conjunction. The advancing marine layer didn't make for the best viewing - through the haze you really could fool yourself it was a Christmas Star, if you wanted to. By the time it got really dark, the planets had been truly swallowed up, but it was a glorious evening anyway, no complaints.
