Brightening up

With the shortest day behind us it was great to see the sunshine this morning, albeit low in the sky.

The day got better as the cable repair man came and within less than an hour had gone again having reconnected us with some pliers, gel and protective coverings. See extra. Despite the trench I had dug there was sufficient cable length to make the connection. Good thing as “our” cable is the old type that they no longer instal.

No matter. TV, broadband, phone, WiFi ( and all the associated devices) back up and running. Everything seems so much easier again. Means I can now resume turning the front lawn into a rose bed. Well, maybe after Christmas.
