Christmas lights

A nearby house has decorated their hedge with a mass of lights, and they are on a bend in the road so they are very prominent.
Things are getting busy in the village. Normous decided to do our Christmas shop today and he set off at 7.45. He got into the supermarket without a problem, but outside the butcher and the greengrocer there were long queues so he didn’t wait and came home. He hoped it would be better towards lunch time, but the queues were even longer! So with a change of plan, he bought fish and chips! He went shopping again late afternoon and got into the greengrocer, but still not the butcher! We will be making good use of the freezer if this carries on! It is really good to see that the local food shops are doing really well.
