Time Out

Had a rare treat today of lunch with a friend ahead of tier 4 on boxing day. The restaurant was very safe well spread out and followed the guidelines totally. Still find I'm nervous though. This wonderful Christmas cart was outside selling fragrant pine cones.
She is a friend who I've known since her and my eldest were born and in the last 20 years have spent 19 boxing days together as families. It will be strange but necessary to not see them and this was our two person alternative!
Long video call tonight with other great friends from England. Great to have a laugh and do some reminiscing.
