Gorse

Gorse is one of the Bach Flower Remedies that treat depression. It is for people who have lost all hope, like the light has gone out in their life. People needing gorse have a resigned heaviness about them and often have dark circles under their eyes.

As gorse is taken, the light returns and you can pull yourself together again with new energy and hope for positive opportunities. It's the first flower essence I took 17 years ago, and I love the gift of hope that its vanilla-scented blossoms carry.
