LD 277. A different Christmas

Just as you can make the angel on top of the Christmas tree look rather more than it actually is ,so you can make the very best of the rather different Christmas we are all faced with this year.

Attending Midnight Communion has been a staple of our family celebrations since I was a child and I missed not preparing for it yesterday evening.

Of course we had to see the day in at home , and we did so in front of the tv .Yet on the tv was the You Tube transmission of the traditional watch night service presided over by our friend and former Rector in Dunoon , Andrew Swift now Bishop of Brechin and whilst it was strange not to be joining with others it was also comforting to be part of the wider celebrations and to realise how many others were attending ( virtually) a host of similar events across the country. .

So a Merry Christmas to all blippers no matter where you are and how you have had to change your day to match the challenge of the times.
