Going With The Flow

I took out my polariser when I saw this pool in the ice because it didn't have any separation. I tried several combinations of polarisation and angle of view before noticing the water wasn't as still as I first assumed. To begin with I tried to freeze the action, but the shapes weren't all that interesting after all.

Then I saw a longer exposure caused quite a significant blur and thought it produced a more engaging image, contrasting movement and frozen ice. Today was windy and unusually warm at 55°F, presumably accounting for the melting ice and moving water.

Extras: West Light; Indigestion.
