Swans

by CALLY
It was a little late and dim when I went for an evening walk. There was a large group of black swans feeding in the river shallows, unmindful of a nearby fisherman and even me with a dog. She stayed quiet, bless her! It was fascinating to watch these swans, so many necks dipping and stretching up...one minute you seemed to only see bodies and black loops, then red beaks flashed into sight, then back to loops which seemed to criss-cross each other. Very harmonious. My group shots weren't too sharp unfortunately. This one of a couple was the best.
