Mallards

I spent the morning looking at both my family trees and trying to find someone who I am beginning to believe never existed! I am sure he did but I cannot find his service record anywhere. I even paid for a subscription to the War Forces Site; he is not on there, but nether are one of my uncles or my cousin and I know they were both in the army.
 
Today’s picture is of some of the many Mallards that are frequenting the pond most days.

The temperature today was two Celsius at GMT noon; the fog and frost have gone, but it is still very cold and the same temperature at noon as yesterday.
