However it didn’t turn out bad! This was the view from the end of drive at 08:20 today!

Although it was quite nice and bright it was very cold and icy today. I did venture out for a (short) walk this afternoon - but only managed 5K steps as it was treacherous underfoot with all the frozen snow and ice.

From the ‘We told you so’ department comes the story of a successful business, employing 10 people, exporting live eels to Europe. The company received £109K of grants from the European Fisheries Fund for new premises. The owner campaigned alongside UKIP and voted to leave in the referendum - and is now amazed to find that he may lose his business because of the extra cost of all the paperwork for export and because his (EU) customers are likely to buy their products from a country that requires little or no paperwork to import from - i.e. within the EU.
