This little chipping sparrow decided that since the squirrels eat from the bird feeder than it should be okay for him to eat from the squirrel picnic table.

I often see the red-bellied woodpecker eating from the squirrel picnic table too.

Today we traveled up to Deep Run to get the solar light Christmas tree off the grave site of Kent’s parents.

We stopped in to visit with Kent’s sister while we were there are her husband, PeeWee, is now under the care of hospice even though he is still at home. PeeWee was lucid when awake and knew who we were which was great. Since he isn’t eating it is hard to say how long he has. :-(

A quiet night tonight I think.
