Hail the Bop!

Django Django are amazing! They headlined the NME awards gig that I went to this evening. Fred and I managed to secure our favourite place in Brixton Academy - the standing area behind the circle seating. You have an excellent view and plenty of dancing space and, boy, we needed the latter for Django Django. We've been dancing to the album in our kitchen for weeks. Brilliant! The three support bands, Peace, Palma Violets and Miles Kane, left us cold, although they all had moments. I wouldn't rush and buy the albums, though.

I love Brixton Academy. You can buy tea and chocolate and there's no queue - everyone else is at the bar.

I'm off for another jig around the kitchen.
