And a new year will begin

My young and energetic and smiling grocer brought me three bags full of bread and milk and coffee and salad and beans and butter and flour and honey. I have food to last till next year. :-)


The mood today at the threshold to the New Year is entirely different from the Christmas mood. Everyone I have either talked or texted to, has been happy and full of hope of a better time to come. The days are lighter, the vaccinations seem realistic, there's hope.
