Three life lessons learned

First, a Very Happy New Year to all my fellow Blipperati, with a prayer that it turns out a darn sight better than 2020.

Now, lesson 1, after 22 years of repeatedly wacking the coffee holder on a hard surface to get coffee grounds out of the thingy, with added swearing. Just tap it gently, so it gently falls out instead of being rammed back in. Of course you all knew that, didn't you? Sigh!

Lesson 2, however much you might like the Steam Punk look, don't buy a Swan coffee maker. First it's cheap, tacky, made-in-China plastic. Second, it doesn't keep the water up to heat making even one cup of espresso, let alone froffing enough milk for one cappucino. Third, the drip tray has so little capacity it makes you quite cross as it spills all over the place. Buyer remorse.

Lesson 3, don't let charlatans into public office. But you knew that too, didn't you?
