New year fungi

Thank you very much for all the lovely comments, stars and hearts that you gave me for my 7 year blip yesterday, you're all very kind!

F and I went on a New Year's Day walk today.  We went to Craignant and did a walk taking in a section of Offa's Dkye which that was steep, very muddy and icy so not the easiest of walking. The lanes were pretty slippery too so we took great care.

I liked these fungi that were on an old tree that we passed.  I can't identify it from my books and the internet but think it is a polypore of some type.  Hopefully someone will know.
