Lighting the way

Although the days are slowly getting a little longer, a minute at a time, I still enjoy lighting candles in the early mornings and late afternoons. 

This lovely jam-jar lantern was made by my grandson when he was still little. Every summer and every late autumn, we would do crafting together and he made many lovely presents for the different members of his family. This is the one he made for me with gathered and pressed leaves and coloured tissue paper. I've added a photo of him when he was a very wee lad, sitting in my local park grabbing some bright yellow dandelion heads!  Sweet memories!
