Stones

This is what I used the day before to sharpen my Shun. 

I have one other whetstone: a 3,000 grit. Sometimes I use it alone, sometimes (perhaps pointlessly?) I use it in between the 1,000 and 6,000 sides of this stone. But just these two do a really fine job.
