Once Upon A Time

This morning we went to the fair day at the Higgins Heritage Park.  There were several big sheds full of vintage machinery and parts.  I heard a little girl say how do they invent all this stuff and I agree with her. 
Three of the young people have left for a three day expedition over in Able Tasman.  They will be walking and kayaking between their accommodation.  Nicole has chosen to stay with us.  She brought her bike up and today rode out to Rabbit Island, caught the ferry to Mapua and had lunch.  Then she road home.
