Huge day

So the plan today was to do a sunrise hike up one of WAs biggest mountains (still fairly small). We got up at 2am and started hiking at 3 getting to the too just in time for sunrise, only it was definitely not sunny. Here we are sheltered from the wind and rain taking a group photo and trying not to get the camera wet.

The weather was pretty miserable but it was a great experience and a good way to see in the new year.

After cooking breakfast at camp we left for albany (1hr south) to do some more bouldering. I did a couple of climbs but was so sleep deprived from the last two nights of 3-4 hours sleep that I spent most of the time napping.

In the afternoon we made moves to return to camp in the Stirling ranges, on the way though I saw some kitesurfers and took the chance to get out for 40 minutes kitesurfing. Then back to camp.
