Remembering how to sew

A small present for Frieda. This required me to retrieve from my memory how to make buttonholes on the sewing machine (I was absurdly pleased when they turned out as intended). . I used to make a lot of clothes for my son and daughter when they were little, but after that there were many years in which I was too busy at work to keep that up.
As I write, I'm looking at this evening's lockdown news. Finally there are glimmers of realism, but these decisions are so belated.
