A notification from the library to alert me to the fact that one of the books I had reserved was ready for collection, so a break from WFH to collect it. No mention of the fact that the library is open from 10:00 until 12:30, closed from 12:30 until 1:30 and open from 1:30 until 4:00.
I was approaching at 12:30 when the door was closed and I had to return to my dining table for another hour. Now I know.
My second trip to the library resulted in a collected book, confirmation of the fact that the fuchsia bush outside is still in bloom, though perhaps not quite as exuberantly as before, and that the family of the late Fran have obviously been round to celebrate Xmas and perhaps also New Year with her.
