Tiny Tuesday . . . Monarch Caterpillar

This caterpillar is so small I kept loosing where it was on the plant.  This is caterpillar zero for 2021.  I rescue them from the garden and raise them in a mesh cage to protect them from the wasps that dine on them. 
The extra is today hens on holiday instalment.  I made a sign but you couldn't see it so I wrote text on the  picture.  Today's text is: Hens earning extra income while Mum's away.   Honey and Hens Airbnb.  Romantic sleep out in sunny organic garden in Richmond.  Contact superhost Lisa. 
Lisa is the big white hen.  The others don't have names.  
The lovely daughter is back from her three days in Able Tasman.  She thoroughly enjoyed it and thought even I could manage the walking. 
Covid update on the nieces partner.  He is no worse but because he has the new strain our niece has to stay longer.  She has done 10 days of isolation and tests negative  but the new protocol puts her at day 6.  She is not happy but rules are rules.
