A lovely sight / Ein schöner Anblick

Heartened to see this as part of my new little commute to work.

Not so much the rather splendid building, currently used as a church - impressive though it is through the morning drizzle.

Rather, the fact it welcomes you to a Fahrradstrasse (bicycle street), where priority is for people cycling and walking. The small white sign indicates that motor vehicles are “frei” (permitted, or maybe tolerated).

That’s a lovely sight, wouldn’t you agree?
