Orchid or alien?

Moth orchid, a beautiful Christmas gift from Tom. Could be an alien though!

Attempting to get my brain in to some sort of 'normality' mode, such as normality is these days, as opposed to the 'one-long-holiday' mode, which doesn't seem to be doing my state of mind any good at all.

Quite a productive day. Made a big pan of soup, caught up with some chores, tackled a heap of admin., 'babbeled' in French for a while, and exercised on the bike, among other things. Need to get a lot more exercise over the next few weeks, methinks - the bathroom scales weren't at all impressed by my post-Christmas weight this morning!

Our 'illustrious' PM apparently addressed the nation this evening, and finally put the nation in to lockdown from tomorrow. The right decision but, once again, too late.
