Farewell old friend

Yesterday we agreed to sell our 12 year old Subaru Forester to our roofer, hours before before lockdown was announced by Nicola. Today we needed to hand it over, so we both organised clicks & collects (food shopping is "essential") and met in Tesco's car park. I meant to take a picture of our faithful friend being driven off, but forgot.

On the way home we had this picnic lunch in the new car, then I walked Norwestie by the Beauly River. It was only mid-afternoon then, but the sun was already setting. See extra.  We came home by way of the (essential) farm shop, picked up the local milk, and that's us locked down for a while now. Sigh, but it's got to be done.
