I'm watching you

I was busy cleaning the pool today when some agitated birds showed me where this Boomslang was resting on an outside geyser. I phoned my neighbour who never seems to get these snakes in her garden, and wanted to see one!
So we watched the snake and the snake watched us. We were the first to move away and he continued his journey- I think into a Hibiscus bush as the birds were shouting at it there! How casual I've become when I see these snakes!!
It is a beautiful colour....
I packed away the Christmas tree and decorations today - the year will probably fly again and before we know it Christmas will be here!!
