warthog and giant apples

For Cailleach’s WildWednesday challenge, thank you for hosting Suse, x
We bought this wooden warthog some years ago because it reminded us so much of a dog we used to have called Tigger. Not that he had any tusks but he used to look a bit like this. He was a brindle staffie and lived to be 18. He was such a character - he drank beer, put his head through 3 panes of glass on the front door when the postman came, fathered a set of the most beautiful pups, and chewed the bottom off a wooden door. And he didn’t like people to wear hats. But he was so affectionate, gentle and funny. He adored all of us and absolutely loved playing with the kids. A beautiful boy.
