Red Rose in the Rain

Another day of summer rain. It’ll be nice when this run of rain is over.

I’ve been glued to the news today, wanting to hear that the Presidential standoff in the US is over. Instead I was appalled & horrified to see what happened on Capitol Hill in Washington, with the incumbent President doing nothing to quell the carnage. Perhaps he should be removed, sooner than later. What’s happening doesn’t have the hallmark of a lucid society. I feel desperately sorry for Joe & Jill Biden.
