Down and Out in Akbuk

Awoke to grey skies and low spirits, and neither lifted as the day wore on.  Graham drove me and Nelson (the feral we found trapped in the storage depot two days ago) to the vet, and the prognosis is not encouraging. The cat will stay there for a few days while we play a waiting game. 

I'm playing a waiting game this evening too, as a learner who booked an online lesson is currently a no show. Nearly time to go find a beer. Oh wait - he's just logged on...
