Twister

Another overcast, dull, low contrast, flat light kind of day. I did like the twisty branch winding its way into the frame and the white snow on top of it was catching a bit of light from overhead. It seems to take the eye into the frame and the branch at the top of the frame, followed by the big leaning trunk in the rear, bring the eye around again.

I remember position myself so the thin vertical branch was as far on the right as possible, since I couldn't exclude it completely. The empty area of snow in the bottom right feels a bit at odds. But otherwise, I'm enjoying the range of tones and texture.
