Belgian Draft Horse foal

Draft horses are still quite common in the fields around here. This is a Brabants Trekpaard foal. I've seen them working too. In fact I've probably seen the mother of this horse pulling a cart of manure because it's in the same field. I'll put it in the extra photos.

In the summer the local park has a work horse show day and we see many of these horses pulling carts full of kids. Wonderful.

Still a bit dank and dark today. A few glimpses of sun. The walk was marred by a moped rider trying to bully me off the walk/cycle path because I didn't stand aside: being as the road was on one side and a watery-ditch on the other. Tosser!
