The Lozarithm Lens

Diary Blip (Friday 8th January 2021)

The father of my neighbour next door (whose door is in the picture) very kindly came over yesterday to cover up some major pot holes on the drive, free of charge, it having reached the point where my neighbour's Peugeot underside was scraping the bottom of the drive each time she used it.
My drive is used by nine other resident's cars alone, so this will be widely appreciated. I thought this might counter my previous blip with a slightly more positive view of humanity.

Lozarhythm Of The Day:
Fairport Convention - Now be thankful (recorded 22 July 1970, Sound Techniques Studio, Chelsea, London, with John Wood, for Island)
Fairport Convention: Dave Swarbrick (vcl, vln), Richard Thompson (gtr, vcl), Simon Nicol (el gtr, dulcimer), Dave Pegg (bass, vcl), Dave Mattacks (dr)
This was a single, not on an original album but included on later compilations, with a lovely vocal from 'Swarb' after Sandy Denny had left the band.
