Coot and Mallard

I thought I would blip a Robin today when at the last minute a Coot appeared on the large pond at the bottom of the garden. I took a lot of pictures of it, but it kept diving and hiding in the reeds; some Mallards joined it. So today you have a not very good picture of a Coot with one of the Mallards; the others were out of sight of the camera lens.
 
Thanks for all the stars and hearts for yesterday’s comparison of my temperature blankets. I do not often look at the popular page, but it seems we featured on there.

It was foggy and frosty and the temperature today was one degree Celsius at GMT noon and for most of the day.
