On Golden Pond .......

..... not exactly a pond, more a stretch of the White Cart that wasn't completely frozen over.

Temperatures well below zero till mid morning when the thermometer in the car reached 2°C. There was still plenty of snow and ice in Pollok Park but, alrthough the sun made an early morning effort, the day has been very dull and colourless. 

Good to see that there was enough compacted snow for the sledgers to enjoy.

Further along the river, away from the weirs, the ice stretched as far as the eye could see.
