Lockdown vision

I have never noticed these very common plants before, but during confinement one tends to look very hard at everything in hope of a blip! They produce interesting visual effects when viewed through a lens.

There was a very light dusting of snow in the square at 9 a.m. this morning, but within an hour it was gone. More snow is forecast though, and S has moved tomorrow's group walk from the Pyrenees to the high Corbières. He is not sure they will actually get there as the snow chains we have don't fit our current car (they do fit Bruno the Peugeot, but his heater is not working properly, which presents a problem for demisting). For some proper snow, have a look at the scenes in Madrid today.

Haven't been far the last couple of days; yesterday morning in our hunt for bandwidth we went to the Mediathèque in Lézignan, which was closed, and sat in the car outside using 4G to check email on our phones. But shortly after we got home the connection was restored, so it's back to normal now.

Trying not to spend too much time shock-scrolling Twitter. The alarming thing is that up till now every outrageous action of the Toddler in Chief has been normalised thanks to his doing something even more outrageous in short order. So, what is next? People have died thanks to him. There's a word for this in Spanish: autogolpe (self-coup). He should be impeached now.
